The district seeks to provide curriculum for gifted and talented students including acceleration, compacting, and/or enrichment to and beyond the regular curriculum. This differentiation may occur in a variety of ways. The district will provide a three-tier model of service to identified students. Learning opportunities will be focused on:

  • (tier 1) classroom and content teachers delivering differentiated learning;
  • (tier 2) G&T staff providing enriched learning opportunities through, but not limited to, staff consultation, pull out services, co-teaching;
  • (tier 3) G&T staff will work with administration and scheduling services to align students with appropriate learning opportunities such as but not limited to dual enrollment courses, advanced subject placements, pullout.

Eagle Hub, "Thinking Outside the Nest!" An individual teacher that is qualified to deliver TAG instruction is an asset to the district. To utilize the special endorsement that is associated with TAG, we believe all students both identified and regular education students should have an opportunity to benefit from additional instruction. Eagle Hub is programming to provide all students at the elementary and MS levels with additional enrichment opportunities. The TAG educator will be responsible for the delivery of the instruction.
